HERE COME THE CARP!
I came across a great post by Pete (Borsey?) in my Google blog alerts. He tells of his early attempts at carp fishing with his mates Karl and Rob. Expert carp fishermen they were not, but it sounds like they had a great trime trying. Oh, the good old days!
T W A N G goes the elastic as he fires the first salvo. Hmm he thinks. Never saw them land! Turns to me and Rob to point out he couldn’t locate where the worms had landed only to be confronted by the sight of me and Rob swathed in mud and lobworms. The inside of the bivvy looked like a small child had thrown a paddy with a bucket full of BBQ Super Noodles!
