New World Record Mirror Carp 89lb
The Mirror Carp World Record has fallen once again. This time the proud captor is Paul meredith, who took “Scarfish” at a new high of 89lbs from Luke Moffett’s La Graviers fishery.
Fishing ”the lawn” swim, Paul took the the massive mirror carp on a bait positioned in the margins and had to take to the boats with Luke Moffatt to land it after a 30 minute fight.
This is the third time Scarfish has been caught of late. A month ago, Mike Cooper caught her at 87lbs and just 23 weeks ago an angler (unknown) also caught her, but incredibly chose not to weigh her, just being happy with his catch.
