BCAC at Brooklands Filling Up Fast
I noticed the following article in the Bexley Times regarding the BCAC (British Carp Angling Championships) qualifier to be held at Brooklands. It also touches on Perry Alabaster’s great haul as reported in BaggingUp last week.
I WOULD like to start this column by thanking all of you who have contacted me regarding the BCAC qualifiers which are being held at Brooklands in April.
From the sounds of it, the venue is going to be full with competitors and I hope you are all successful in getting a place on the day.
If you want to get some practice on the water before April then go to: http://www.ddaps.net for information on day tickets.
I understand that it’s fishing really well at the moment and Jonesy the bailiff is normally around for information on the water.
MY congratulations go to Perry Alabaster from Hertfordshire who enjoyed the session of a lifetime recently at Darenth Big Lake.Alabaster caught two 50lbs carp as well as fish of 39.8lb and 31lb and various others.
He fished for two days, had 12 takes and caught nine fish which is spectacular fishing as Darenth is not an easy water. Well done mate.
