British Carp Angling Championships 2007 Round 1
The British Carp Angling Championships 2007 got underway this week with the first elimination rounds taking place at Ecton Lake and Farlows Lake.
Ecton proved to be really tough, with only a few fish troubing the marshalls. Finally coming out on top were Shaun McSpadden and Scott Day with a common of 22lb 12oz.
Farlows was totally the opposite, with loads of carp banked and five or six pairs vying for top spot. Eventual winners were Barry and Ben O’Connor with a massive haul of 328lb 3oz!
