Excellent Day Out At Sparsholt College!!

Sparsholt College in Hampshire will be holding their annual “Fish Fish Fish” day out on April 28th. The day will see all sorts of angling activities, from talks and demonstrations to guided tours around the college’s amazing fish house - full of tropical, marine and coarse fish. The UK Carp/Daiwa Championships !!

UK Carp magazine has launched the biggest competition the carp world has seen – with a staggering £20,000 first prize!
The UK Carp/Daiwa Championships is a national pairs event run across the country at Britain’s day ticket venues and club waters.
The competition is open to anglers of all abilities and ages, and is based around regional 24-hour qualifiers. The winning pair will make it through to a 30-team grand final in September, at Brasenose 1, where carpers will battle it out for a winner-takes-all purse. Entry is £200 per pair, per qualifier and there’s no limit on the number of matches you can fish.
Linear Fisheries are hosting several qualifiers on 12/13 May, 16/17 June, 14/15 July and 4/5 August 2007 – so don’t miss out, register now!
