Bagging Up - Carp Fishing

 News of several decent carp coming from the Richworth Linear Fisheries, including the “Birthmark Linear” out at it’s biggest ever weight of 40lb 3oz.

OXLEASE LAKE
Richard Kalidoski from Northants had 13 fish up to 28lb 07oz fishing maple boilies. Kris Wanting also from Northants had 5 fish up to a new PB of 30lb 02oz fishing maple boilies as singles. Paul Newman had 8 fish including 6 twenties up to 29lb’s using Edge Baits boilies and PVA bags of pellets. Clive Coopland from Heathrow had 4 fish including a new PB 35lb mirror fishing maggots at close range. Terry Newman from Buck’s had 8 fish up to 24lb’s using fake maize over hemp and corn. Gary Newman from Liverpool had 4 fish up to a new PB mirror of 31lb’s using HBS oyster and cranberry boilies.

BRASENOSE 1
Nathan Sharp had 10 fish including 4 twenties up to 23lb 02oz fishing boilies over a heavily spodded area. David Smith had 4 fish including a new PB 24lb 02oz mirror again using boilies over a spodded area. Jon Mudd had ten fish including fish of 21lb, 25lb and 26lb fishing particles at 50 yards. Chris Howe from South Wales had a new PB 28lb 15oz mirror, Delwyn Webber from New Tredegar had a new PB 19lb 10oz mirror and Grayham Harper from Brynmawr had a new PB 17lb 12oz mirror. Stuart Bruce from Pontypridd had mirrors of 16lb 15oz and 14lb 7oz. Pedro Dittrich from Bishops Stortford had six fish up to 17lb fishing the method and Mainline salmon and shrimp boilies.

MANOR FARM LAKE
Adrian Woollas from Lincoln had a 25lb mirror using small bags and tiger nuts. Jamie Collins had a 30lb 12oz mirror on his first visit to the water using boilies over particles. And this morning Jo Green had five fish including the “Birthmark Linear” at it’s biggest ever weight of 40lb 03oz using Tails Up boilies.

ST JOHNS LAKE
Jason Orr from Eastbourne had a 25lb 02oz mirror along with commons of 21lb 03oz and 36lb 08oz using 10mm tiger nut boilies, the biggest was a new PB. Ben Winsper had two twenties along with a 32lb mirror and commons of 36lb and 38lb 10oz using SBS M1 boilies. Gareth Roberts has had 4 fish up to 19lb 12oz (PB) using Richworth KG-1 boilies. Andy Baker has had three fish up to a new PB common of 31lb’s again using Richworth KG-1 boilies. And Tranmere Rovers kit man Mark Trevor had a 21lb 06oz common, 29lb 06oz mirror and a new PB 30lb 02oz common also using Richworth KG-1 boilies.
