More 30s From Bury Hill Fisheries

Following young Max Wells great capture of two thirties weighing 36lb 8oz and 30lb 1oz from Temple Lake last week and Dan Hughes cracking 33lb 6oz mirror carp. Junior bailiff Ed Mason also struck lucky when he grabbed a quick night last Saturday catching a 32lb Linear. A very good angler for his years, Ed fished a Richworth Pineapple and Hawaiian boilie to the deep water channel tight to the island off swim 13. Eds catch brings the total number of thirties caught from Temple this year to 12 of which 9 being where caught in April.

Not to be out done, Simon Jones bagged up last Friday night on the Old Lake catching a 31lb common carp, two twenties and three doubles. Fishing peg 22, Simon fished a 15mm Cranberry boilie towards the island. Simons catch brings the total number of thirties caught this month from the Old Lake to 3 and 15 overall from both Temple and the Old Lake which is a new record for the fishery.
