BRITISH dace record holder Simon Ashton swapped his beloved River Wear for Spain’s mighty River Segre to take this impressive half albino catfish weighing 183lb.
The 31-year-old from County Durham took the huge specimen during a week’s holiday with friends on the river above Mequinenza, beating his old pb for the species by over 50lb in the process.
